I was up very early this morning to meet Hanne and Thomas and we drove to the cemetery to see my great grandmother's grave. It is the second cemetery in Kongsberg, the first one being at the church in town.
Then in the afternoon, I met Knut on the bridge of the Lågen River for the opening parade of the Jazz Festival. The first concert was held in Galleri Åkern and Hilde Marie Holsen, performed very avant garde trumpet with electronic sounds
Joshua Abrams performed orchestrations of traditional and contemporary sounds on the guimbri
The final performance of the evening began with Ane Brun, who warmed up the evening for
Jamie Cullum, who performed an outstanding concert to prepare Kongsberg for
DJ Reborn who mixed it up to warm the crowd for the Queen, Ms. Lauryn Hill
